FreshChat
Freshworks is a popular help desk platform, which offers, amongst other feaures, a chat widget. If you are a vendor that uses Freshworks, Channelyze can make the chat widget available to your channel partners, enabling them to start conversations with you from within the partner portal that will reflect in your Freshworks interface.
Configuration
Start by enabling the Freshworks integration by clicking the Manage button next to Freshworks in the Integrations tab of the Settings area. Then press the Enabled button.
Next, press the New Connection button and enter your Freshworks domain, e.g. ‘acme.myfreshworks.com’ (or even just ‘acme’). Then sign into your Freshworks account. Ensure that you sign in as a user with sufficient priviledges to embed the chat widget.
Next locate the chat widget embed HTML from the Admin section of the Freshworks interface and paste it into the “Specify the widget embed HTML” field at the bottom of the Freshworks integration page.
Communication with partners
Now, when partners log into the partner portal for your organization, a floating chat button will appear in the bottom right hand corner of their screen. When they click this button the chat widget will appear, letting them initiate a conversation with you.
